Rooting of Android devices has proved to be the most stunning activity of many Android users but
I’ve come home with some observations (what I termed “dangers of rooting”) with regard the action.
There are so many reasons to root your phone but when you consider the demerits below, you will have a good chance of comparing why and why not. Recently, we’ve presented you with many
reasons to root your android but today we’ll show you the other side of the game. We present you
with only 3 reasons not to root your device.

When you get root access to your device, you are faced with this danger of being dangerously
attacked in several aspects. You can’t prevent malicious applications from wreaking havoc on your system again: system files can be corrupted or deleted, personal information can be skimmed, and you could even soft brick your device. By gaining this root access, you have huge control over the entire system. With the right knowledge you have every power to read and modify so many parameters of the device but it doesn’t end there. This is the reason why some apps, such as SuperSU, require root access in order to work properly.
However, this type of access is a double edged sword as with root access nothing is there to
prevent malicious applications from wreaking havoc on your phone(like I mentioned earlier).

UPDATE ISSUES
This one is very common with rooted devices.
When your Android is rooted, you’ll stop seeing that automatic updates to the firmware stop being pushed to you. For example, you’ll no longer have the convenience of seeing updates via Wi-Fi (OTA) and management software such as Samsung KIES
will no longer work properly. You are now faced with the task of manually updating your firmware
each time a new one comes out.

WARRANTY
It should be noted that gaining root access to your device is never supported by manufacturers. If it were to be, one could buy an already rooted device from the manufacture. When you root your device
you are probably saying no to some of the warranties that came along with your phone Some
devices, such as Samsung, even have a flash counter built into them that will keep track of
whether or not a user has tampered with the firmware and installed unofficial software and this can be checked even if the phone has been unrooted and locked again. If you so much love
the warranty given by your customer (manufacturer) then forget rooting. But it should
also be known that all warranty will not just be denied because of rooting your device.

Our Advice
From all indications, rooting your phone provides you with great authority over your device but the intention with which you rooted will matter to a great extent.
Why do you choose to root the device? If there is no important thing you are looking for, out there, that needs the root
access then say a bold NO to rooting
